Midi Studio: A Powerful MIDI Control Surface for Musicians
Midi Studio is a modular MIDI control surface developed by VITALIY TARASYUK for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. This app allows musicians to control and receive feedback from software and hardware that implement the MIDI protocols. With Midi Studio, users can send CoreMidi messages over a Wi-Fi network using the UDP protocol, making it a versatile tool for music production.
The interface of Midi Studio offers a wide range of touch controls, including faders, rotary controls, encoder controls, push buttons, toggle buttons, XY pads, LEDs, and labels. These controls enable musicians to manipulate and control MIDI messages with precision and ease. Additionally, Midi Studio supports true velocity sensitivity, modulation, drums, keyboards with different key sizes, and custom key scales.
It is important to note that Midi Studio is a MIDI controller app and does not include a sound engine or synth. However, it seamlessly integrates with popular music software such as Apple Logic Pro/Express, Ableton Live, Max for Live, Cubase, Pro Tools, and FL Loops, among others.
Please be aware that the ability to create custom layouts is not included by default in the app. This feature is available through a built-in purchase or by upgrading to the "Midi Studio Pro" version.
